The eating area of the kitchen right before moving in. And after some paint, new lights, and talavera tile (the doorframe is actually the exit from the family room).

The family room "before" - functioning as a bedroom. The passive solar wall is still there; we love the look of it, but it doesn't actually do much heat-wise.

And a bad "after" showing a completely different angle. We removed the doors on the closet in the previous photo, and had the opening cut to fit our armoire.
