Hmmm... time for a quick update. We've been busy with general preparation "stuff" - setting up a previously unused room as a guest room, getting the former guest room ready as a nursery, checking into insurance options, finding out about classes, and doing the registry thing. Biggest sigh of relief for me is that we toured some childcare facilities and agreed on one that we like the feel of not too far from my office (yep, I'll be going back to work). It's a Montessori school as well, so the kiddo can stay put all the way through age 5 if it works for us. We're reading up and asking around to learn more about the Montessori method, but like the idea of education and structure early on and were impressed with what we saw when visiting. So it's settled. We're off to Oklahoma to hook up with my family for Thanksgiving on Wednesday morning, which makes tomorrow like a Friday already. Yay to short weeks, and happy turkey eating! Amelia
