Liam, Liam, & More Liam

OK, and one photo with Shawn in the mix, too. Here's the guys reading a story before bed.

Liam in his Adidas gear from Grandma and Grandpa K. This could earn some kids an ass-kicking in a daycare mostly populated by the kiddos of Nike employees, but he's baby enough to handle it.

Everything goes in the mouth... and sometimes Liam doesn't like how things taste or feel in the mouth. This was one of those times.

And to think I spent money on a Halloween costume when we could have just served up some sweet potatoes, tied the guy's sleeves together, and sent him out as Hannibal Liam...
If you look really close, you can see the two new chompers gracing the lower palate of our angel. Careful, he bites.

In other Liam news, he is just getting over his first round of ear infections, pinkeye, and a touch of pneumonia. Ouch. Took him in for the oozy eye and the pediatrician discovered the rest. Double ouch (we thought it was just another cold; seriously, he wasn't fussy at all). Poor guy, but he's on the mend now and back in full action.

Determined to avoid actual crawling, Liam has mastered the art of rolling from one place to another. He takes toys with him and bangs them against anything he can find on the way. Luckily our townhome has Pergo floors and they apparently are indestructible!

We joined a parents-of-infants group in the area to meet some other folks with little ones, and Liam and I had our first outing with the gang at the pumpkin patch yesterday. Good times, but unfortunately my hands were too full (literally) for the camera. We're also taking swim classes together, which are a blast since Liam loves the water (and the cheesy songs we sing and the rubber duckies the babies get to play with).

Seven months old, about 21 pounds, and full of laughs, smiles, and interest in the world around him - we're really enjoying this part of the baby stage and might just want to freeze time for a bit.

Liam is getting so big and is adorable - what a great smile! We're glad you're having a great time exporing Oregon (even with the rain). :)
