If Liam looks a little weird in this picture, it's because he's talking about his new favorite thing - the bus ("buh"). He is recently obsessed with planes, trains, automobiles, and all other such things that go. Lately, Liam's mouth also goes... about a mile a minute, though we can only comprehend bits and pieces. But more and more real words are breaking through the baby babble these days, which is lots of fun for the whole family.

Now we just need to get Liam himself going - on his feet. He is a master crawler and wanders around with the help of furniture, his cart, or a finger, but has yet to attempt any steps or stand on his own. To say Liam is "cautious" in his motion is a huge understatement; the poor guy visibly shakes when we try to get him to try something new. It's unknown whether Liam's gross motor delays are due to a physical weakness (and he's timid b/c he lacks muscle tone/balance) or just due to his uber-cautious nature (and his muscles/balance are less developed because he doesn't work them enough). So back to physical therapy we go... on Tuesday a therapist is coming to set up a plan to help get our guy walking!
