Eating Area Drywall & Stucco Prep

This week's work on the new eating area included prepping the exterior for its stucco finish (they basically wrap it in a wire mesh that will hold the stucco material in place). And putting up and mudding the sheetrock on the interior walls.

So things are still moving along... and I have to say it's fabulous to watch home improvements being made without actually doing any of the work!!
On a totally unrelated note, here's a pic of Liam at our village's fireworks display last Saturday night. This is the first year he managed to stay up for the show, and he loved all the colors, noise, smoke, and action. Of course, he was equally into the firetrucks that were on-scene for the proceedings... Good times :0)

Remodel continues to look real nice. Glad you got to see fireworks and had a great fourth of July! I can't get over how big Liam is getting, I say that every time but each picture he seems to age a ton.

Your room looks fabulous and like it's coming along really well. The picture of Liam is adorable (as always) with such anticipation of all the festivities.

Looking good! Bet Liam has had a ball watching all the workmen and their equipment-trucks!
If Liam is like his dad he will enjoy the firworks more each year.

What is going to be done first, the remodeling or the new arrival??
You are running bets on this now aren't you??? Kidding. The project looks great. Liam is really
growing up. He is "the man."
