Halloween, Etc.

First the posed costume shots for this year... Liam was loving his "buzzy bee" costume, but Greta was not such a happy flower! I'm sure when she's older she'll also learn to appreciate the true beauty of a holiday centered around candy :0) Here's reality. And here's a more Hallmark version.

We made a couple of trips to the pumpkin patch this year, and were lucky enough to have my mom join in for the second one.
We were unlucky enough to get a bit of snow during her visit... (It's warmed back up since, which I am oh-so-happy about.)
Here's Liam rocking his super-cool-glow-in-the-dark skeleton jammies from Aunt Kelli and Uncle Jesse.
Getting ready to head out trick-or-treating (we decided not to force Greta into reliving the apparent horror that was the flower costume).
And back with the goods. Liam really got into the whole thing this year, and would have kept ringing doorbells all night if we didn't cut him off after a couple of blocks (afraid, really, of what to do with all that candy!!).
Another round of colds/coughs kept us from mingling with friends last night, but otherwise we're calling the holiday a big success!

I love the picture of Liam and Greta in the grass holding hands - so cute!! Looks like Liam had a great time trick-or-treating and I'm glad to see he didn't waste any time digging into the candy!

I too love the pictures of Liam and Greta in the grass. I'm so glad you all had a wonderful Halloween and a great time with your mom. Now honestly, how much of Liam's candy did you parents steal?!

Great pics!! Liam was playing in the shelled corn? Did Liam have a sugar high from the candy? Glad he had a good time.
Love, Grand K
