Early Shift
Since he was a wee babe Liam has always awoken for the day sometime around 6:30 am. Until about two weeks ago, when his internal alarm clock decided that 5:45 would be a better time to awake each day. This is not a change we're excited about, and we're working with Liam on sleeping a bit later, or at least waiting 'til a respectable hour to wake the rest of us!
So yesterday, after escorting him back to his room sometime in the pre-dawn hours, here's what I found when I wandered in there a bit before 7:00 :0)
Nothing like a little fire truck action first thing in the morning (he immediately promoted himself to fire chief and donned the white hat, while appointing me a "regular fire engine man" and handing over the red one).

Looks like Liam had pretty good time before you found him. He sure does like those fire trucks. Fund to watch him grow.

Amelia, I am so sorry to hear that your son enjoys rising before the sun! No wonder why you must be so tired. I sure hope you can get more sleep soon. At least he stays in his bed.
I love it! Liam makes a great fire chief in his car bed - how clever! Hopefully he'll start dreaming about these things rather than playing them out in the early morning hours.
It'd be great if you could please tell Liam to STOP calling Carter at 5:45AM. We want to sleep too :)
Bummer on the weee hours, but you definitely have a cute little fireman there!
And don't worry, when he's a teenager, you can get your revenge! :)
