Outdoor Adventures

Fall is in the air and, although the weather has been beautiful, we know the warm days won't last much longer so have been spending as much time outside as we can. The first few pictures below are from Labor Day weekend and I'm just now getting around to posting them... Here are Elyse and Liam heading to the park (Liam always keeps a hand on his pants while running to hold them up!). Greta trying out the play structure at the zoo.

Liam enjoying himself.
And even Uncle Nate getting in on the action.
Last week, the kids and I spent some time in the giant castle/sandbox at the gardens. While Liam headed up some construction activity...
...Greta found other uses for sand.
On Friday, we all headed to Wildlife West to check out some native species. Who knew there was a bus version of the Jackalope?
Of course, "driving" proved infinitely more entertaining to Liam than the bear, mountain lions, elk, and such, but at least we got out on a nice day!

Love all the pictures. Glad to see you are still getting beautiful days and enjoying yourself. As for Greta and the sand, I think she maybe coming accustomed to the taste ;)

Miss them so much!

All GREAT pics! The close-up of Liam deserves to be framed and hung on a wall!

Loved the pictures of the kids. Liam is always a hoot but I especially like the one of Greta eating the sand. Must take after her father.
