Winter Wonders

We woke up to snow Friday morning!! Despite the fantastic new boots (thanks Grandma K!), Greta was not a fan, but Liam had a blast running around and making a snowman (more like a leafman... we probably should rake sometime soon). In typical Albuquerque fashion, the snow was mostly gone by afternoon and today it's back to 50 degrees - my kind of winter :0)

We also headed down to the botanic gardens to check out this year's River of Lights display.
I'm not sure if she liked the freedom to wander around at night or taking in all the lights more, but Greta enjoyed herself either way.
And Liam definitely had a favorite of the evening (an easy choice since the trains weren't running!).
With less than a week to go in the Christmas countdown, we're settled in and ready for more holiday fun! -Amelia

That would be my kind of snow too! I joked with Nate that I don't think ours is going away until June.

The light display looks very fun. Glad to see the kiddos are doing well. Greta walking around makes her look like she went from baby to girl overnight. Miss you all.

Glad the boots fit and Liam had fun. It's a new experience for Greta.

I could have guessed which one of the displays were Liam's favorite. Pretty darn cute.
Love, Grand K
