Labor Day Travels

Last weekend we headed up north for a cousin's wedding and the chance to catch up with a whole lot of family (and a few friends). We also took a whole lot of pictures and I had a hard time narrowing down the selection, so sit back and get comfortable... We tease my mom about being the crazy cat lady; here's the proof. The kids, however, thought the cat stroller was the coolest thing ever. They also dug this slide (which Greta went up and down about a million times!).

Liam got to check out cousin Scott's race car at brunch the morning after the wedding - a definite highlight of the trip for him.
And we all headed out to the family pond for a picnic later that afternoon.
If we look like a relatively together bunch in the photo above, don't be fooled...
Here are the kiddos enjoying some hot tub time with Grandma.
A little more cat harassment.
And one last try at a group photo before we hit the road.
We got to squeeze in a day of fun with Shawn's brother and family before flying back home, too. Here are the "big" cousins.
Looking every direction but at the camera!
And here's sweet Caleb trying to avoid the evil grass. He's the sweetest, most easy-going guy ever... not to mention those kissy cheeks!
Elyse has a sweet ride that she let Greta drive for awhile.
And what's a get together without a little sword fighting?
And a little more...
Coloring can be serious business.
And here are all four kiddos - Greta, Liam, Elyse and Caleb.
We got in a couple decent photos before things turned to chaos (but I love Caleb's expression in this one too much to not share!).
To everyone we saw in Iowa and Minnesota... We love and miss you! Big special thanks to those that fed and housed us for putting up with the whole crew - we had a blast and appreciate all your help :0)

I always thought that Liam was much like Shawn was when a kid. But, unless you tell me that Liam tried to take a ride in the Cat Stroller I would have to say I was wrong, because if that was Shawn, he would had figured out a way to do it with Nate pushing him. Great pictures.
