Weekend With Grandma

We just wrapped up a super fun weekend with Grandma in-town! There were, of course, lots of pushes on the tire swing, stories, and snuggles. But our big outing was a trip to a nearby pumpkin patch, where the kids got to experience the excitement of the cow "train".

Another corn maze (we obviously have Iowa roots and a thing for corn!).
Pedal carts.
Farm equipment.
And, of course, pumpkins. (I tried mightily to steer Greta in another direction, but she insisted on selecting "that green one" from the patch :0)
Yeah, I don't think greenie is a candidate for carving anytime soon...
We also got in a trip to the Tinkertown Museum, which is absolutely filled with random stuff and a favorite spot for a certain little boy.
The days went by too fast, but we're so glad you came to share them with us - thanks for coming out Grandma/Kathy and we can't wait to see you again soon!!

Looks like you guys had a great time. What a fun, memorable and special weekend for the kiddos.

I too think the cow train was pretty cool looking.
