In Arizona

As most of you probably know already, Shawn is taking a class in Arizona for work until April. We're lucky that he gets to come home and see us most weekends during this time, but even luckier that the kiddos and I got to make the trip to Phoenix to share this past weekend together in relative warmth :0) While there we headed downtown to check out the children's museum. It did not disappoint with plenty of vehicles, an awesome climbing structure,

and even giant pots to play in.
The weather was warm enough for stops at lots of parks, including Liam's ultimate: a train park (in Scottsdale). Ah, the anticipation!
The (first) train ride.
Even a little carousel action to round out the experience.
A little local landscape thrown in just because.
And our last night in the hotel before bed. We miss you already, Daddy!
(Ironically, we weren't missing Shawn for all that long... Turns out he had to come home to New Mexico for a meeting today, so the kids and I flew back yesterday morning, picked Shawn up at the airport last evening, then dropped him off for his return flight to Phoenix tonight!)
