Colorado Reunion
Sit back and get comfy, because we've got a whole lot of pictures from this past week back in the great state of Colorado...
We met up not only with my parents and brother's family, but with a whole crew of aunts, uncles, and cousins from Dad's side. Here's my dad (in the green) with three of his four brothers (and Liam).
We spent a day enjoying the summer offerings of Winter Park's ski area, including many trips down the alpine slide seen below.
A little chess.Some beautiful scenery.
And a little zip-line action.
The next day, we headed out to try a little trail near the ski slopes.
What's a trip to the mountains of Colorado without a visit to Rocky Mountain National Park?
The arctic tundra felt just right this time of year!
Our nephew, Kaldun, obviously braver in the climbing department than me.
Above the treeline.
Kaldun, Kelli, and Jesse in the great outdoors.
Mom and Dad (AKA Grandma Sue and Grandpa Louie).
We spent our final night in Fraser taking in the local rodeo, where the kids scored these awesome hats.
Greta was particularly smitten with her new headwear and is now convinced she's a "real cowboy".
The days went by so fast, I still can't believe we're back home already. Thanks to the whole clan for the wonderful trip and memories - it was great to catch up with you all!! -Amelia

What a great family vacation. I am guessing the pictures don't do justice on the beauty you saw. So glad you had a wonderful time. Would have loved to see Liam do the zipline, so fun.
By the smile on Liam's face we can tell he liked the zipline. Looks like a wonderful family vacation.
