We were lucky to have Shawn's parents down visiting this past weekend. In addition to the wonderful company and extra attention they bring, the kiddos were thrilled to find a few other surprises in Grandma's bag!

After a pretty laid-back Saturday (soccer game, brunch, and a trip to Target), we all headed out to the State Fair on Sunday morning. First stop, riding the ponies.

 Then a stroll through McDonald's farm (including the requisite photo aboard the big tractor).
 A pause to pose as sheep.
 And a little playtime in the corn bin.
 Taking in some animal action (and chores).
And finally, after doing our part for fried food consumption on the fairgrounds, we rounded everybody up and headed for home.
