Good Times With Grandma & Grandpa

We are super lucky to have two sets of wonderful parents/grandparents to love on our kiddos, and we love it when they come to visit! The past several days were no exception; Shawn's parents were in town to refresh our card skills and join in some summer fun.

While they were here, we took in an evening concert and picnic at the botanic gardens.

At which we did plenty of eating.
Tried a little hula hooping (I'm including my own picture here to prove that I still have mad hula hoop skills).

Of course, no visit to the gardens is complete without a stroll through the giant carrot.

A trip to the zoo was also on the itinerary. People were fed.
Lorikeets were fed.
And even a giraffe was fed.

All that feeding wears a crew out just enough for bedtime stories.

The final night we wore ourselves out even more at Liam and Greta's swimming bash, but I'll save the pictures from that for another post :0) Thanks for coming down and for all the help, Mike and Kathy - it was GREAT to have you!! ("How great?" "Sofa King great!" Hee hee...)
