Family & The Fourth
Last week was extra special as it included both a holiday and a visit from my mom and dad :0)
We enjoyed plenty of time outdoors.
Cuddled up for some reading together.
And had our usual 4th of July fun.
Complete with the annual parade.
And, of course, fireworks.
After the late night, it was time for more games (here the kids teach Grandpa Louie the ways of Plants vs. Zombies).
A walk to the park and growers' market.
And some zoo adventures.
Botanic gardens, pool, zoo, market, parks, and picnics... Pretty much our regular summer line-up, but even better with extra family to share it with! Thanks for coming down, Grandma Sue and Grandpa Louie - we love and miss you!!
