Trip to Iowa
So I realized it'd been a while since I made a post (Shawn here) at the point that my mother emailed my wife about blog postings. So here's my mega and multi-posting to make up for it. We went back to Iowa in June for a long weekend for one of Amelia's friend's weddings. She was actually the matron of honor.
Sue was gracious enough to come down and watch Liam for the night and while I tried to recuperate from a bad sinus cold. I think they had a good time together...
After the wedding we headed back to my home town to see my parents, brother, and sister-in-law. I think my dad really enjoyed having us togeather for Father's Day. We had a great visit and even had time for a few card games. Looking at the pictures its appears Liam got his hair genes from my dad.
We even got a rare photo of the three of us looking semi-decent!
