State Fair Time
Tuesday was "Firefighters' Day" at the New Mexico State Fair, so we all headed down to sample the food and fun. No surprise, Liam was absolutely thrilled with all the trucks on display!
He's also a fan of tractors, big and small. (Greta slept through most of the excursion in the wrap, emerging only briefly to eat and look around.)
And, of course, we had to indulge in some junky fair food :0)
By 1:00, both kiddos were in full meltdown mode, so we didn't cover a whole lot of ground but enjoyed what we did see! We're hoping to head back to check out more animals and shows (and funnel cakes and frito pies...) sometime in the next week.

Looks like you had a wonderful time. Ours was over Labor Day weekend and I swear we were the only Minnesotans to not go. Oh well, maybe next year when Elyse can enjoy it more like Liam did.
Hope mom and dad had a good time at the fair. We can tell by the pictures that Liam had a great time; fire trucks, tractors and junk food, yipee.

I remember when we were down there for the fair. It was great fun, but would even be more fun with Liam. Maybe next year, if Louie ever retires or reduces his hours.
