Suddenly Christmas
To say the time since Thanksgiving has been a blur would be an understatement!! Here's a quick peek into what's been going on with the kiddos since I left off...
Greta sang her little heart (and pigtails) off at the preschool feast.
Greta and I took in a rousing performance of "Clifford, The Big Red Dog".
The trees lost all their leaves, Shawn raked them, the kids played in them, and we found a poor college student on Craigslist who came and bagged them all for us - best money ever spent!
The weather turned chilly enough that it was time to try on snowpants.
We paid a visit to a local Christmas tree lot, where Greta and her pal Megan played in the little houses.
And Liam informed Santa that he'd like a Star Wars ship for Christmas (Greta would have nothing to do with the big guy in red).
We picked out a lovely Douglas Fir and decorated it, with particular detail (and volume) on the lower branches.
Greta and Liam decorated a gingerbread house, and ate plenty of candy in the process.
After a long and unsatisfying visit to the opthamologist's office, we're now patching Greta for four hours a day instead of two... And looking for a new eye doctor. We met friends at the botanic gardens for the annual River of Lights.
And got a preview of Old Town's Christmas tree on the walk back.
So despite all the hustle and bustle and the cold that will not go away, we are quite merry indeed!

Sometimes it makes me so sad that my favorite time of the year go so fast. Well you guys have been extremely busy and yet looks like you're having the most memorable and fun Christmas. Bummer about eye doctor.
Loved the pics. The kids are growing up too fast. Thanks for sharing.

Great pictures. I can see the excitement of the Season on the faces and in the eyes of Liam and greta (patch and all). Looking forward to seeing you all soon. GPL
